ON THE HOUSE respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This document sets out our policy on how we will manage your personal information.
Personal information is information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database) from which it is possible to determine your identity. Examples of personal information include your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
ON THE HOUSE collects personal information about you in a number of ways, including directly from you when you provide information to us by phone, email, in a competition entry form or when you submit information through our web sites.
The personal information collected and held about you may include:
a. your name, address, email address, contact information;
b. details of the events purchased from ON THE HOUSE; and
c. other information provided voluntarily by you, for example in response to surveys or competitions.
ON THE HOUSE does not store any cardholder data. All credit card payment services are secure and are handled by PayPal.
ON THE HOUSE may use your personal information for the primary purpose for which it was collected and secondary purposes related to the primary purpose. Such primary and secondary purposes may include, without limitation use of your personal information to:
a. process your ticket order and payment;
b. assist with the delivery or collection of your reserved ticket (for example, we will provide your name to the Event Organiser so that you can collect your ticket from the box office venue).
c. Research and develop, run, administer and market competitions, programs, services and activities relating to events; and
d. keep you informed of news and information (such as advance notice of ticket sales relating to events).
So that we can continue to provide you with information about upcoming events, we give you the opportunity to say yes to us contacting you by email. This is your choice and you can opt out of future contact whenever you want.
If you would like your name deleted from our database, please use the unsubscribe facility included in all promotional emails we send.
We take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, we rely on the accuracy of personal information as provided to us both directly and indirectly.
If you find that the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date, please contact ON THE HOUSE immediately (our contact details are set out below) and we will take reasonable steps to ensure that it is corrected. Alternatively, you can update your personal information by accessing your ON THE HOUSE member account.
Subject to some exceptions provided by law, you have the right to access your personal information. For security purposes, if you would like to access personal information that we hold about you, we require you to put your request in writing.
If we do not allow you access to any part of the personal information we hold about you, we will tell you why. We will not charge you for lodging a request to access your personal information, but we may charge you for our reasonable costs in supplying you with access to this information
We ensure that any personal information we no longer need is either destroyed or that you become permanently unidentifiable from the information.

ON THE HOUSE takes all privacy complaints seriously. We will investigate your complaint in a confidential manner and you will be informed of the outcome of the investigation within a reasonable period of time
